I saw Dr. Shulman for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did! She discovered things my other neurosurgeons either missed or ignored. Both she and Kathryn are empathetic and very generous with their time. I had everything explained to me in detail, from test results to surgery. I will never go anywhere else!

Dr. Shulman and Kathryn are amazing. She diagnosed me when no one else could. Very knowledgeable and I received more information than I ever had about my diagnosis. She has done surgery and I am finally pain free. I had seen 2 other neurosurgeons in Florida who had no empathy for their patient. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Dr Shulman and her assistant Kathryn. My husband had a hip revision and thought that the hip was not right, had pain going down his legs and couldn't stand up straight. Within one visit with Dr Shulman, my husband found out that he had spinal stenosis. She put in 2 Colfex. One hour after surgery my husband was up walking without any pain...simply amazing!!! He is now walking straight and using his new hip properly. Thank you Dr Shulman and Kathryn. The staff at the office are wonderful, very caring and compassionate... Kudos to Gwen, Tiffany and Taylor!!! Also a shout out to Georgette (nurse)....very caring....

I have been a patient for some time and the staff here is very kind. Dr. Shulman is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I have had both a disectomy with C- roi in September for 2 discs; and most recently a microvascular decompression for my left trigeminal nerve! I would and have recommended Dr. Shulman to friends and family members. Thank you for taking such great care of me, my husband and I appreciate everything you have done for me.

Dr. Schulman and her staff are extremely professional and friendly. After seeing something that might have been a problem, Dr. Schulman had a MRI done. After reviewing the results, the situation was described as minimal. This was Dr. Schulman's original thought. We will review this situation in one year and hopefully the diagnosis. I was very comfortable with Dr. Schulman and I would recommend anyone to see her, if they have a need for that type of medical service.

Dr. Shulman understood the severity of my situation and had me in surgery in less than a week. After two weeks, the pain has subsided and able to walk around with much less pain. I would highly recommend her if you want the best.

Outstanding neurosurgeon! I had a colloid cyst of the third ventricle of the brain. I was transferred to 3 hospitals and ended up at the hands of Dr. Shulman. She was excellent from beginning to end. I was in ICU for about 5 days, had endo-craniotomy to remove tumor and went home the next day. Recovery was tough, but not because of her, because it's brain surgery. She is calming, confident and re-assuring. So thankful I ended up in her care.

The visit was started promptly with no high tech knowledge needed on my end! Dr Shulman was thorough and was well prepared for my visit. You could tell she wasn't reading it off notes. The office staff has been very accommodating and friendly.

This was my first visit. She was highly recommended by a family member who she treated a few years ago. She is very knowledgeable, listens and answered my questions.

This is the second time I've used Carrie Shulman. In June 2016 she did a microdisectomy on my L5 S1 disc. In March this year 2020 it herniated again. There was only one neurosurgeon I wanted to go and see. June 19th I had a spinal fusion. Carrie Shulman takes the time to discuss all options...

In this current craziness, my first telemed appointment with Dr Shulman went great. She was personable and listened.

Dr Shulman saved my mom's life. Dr. Shulman is a gifted surgeon who was able to operate at the C1/C2 skull base area on my Mom which was a high risk surgery. My mom would have become paraplegic had it not been for Dr. Shulman. My mom is now out of pain and getting her life back. Dr. Shulman rearranged her schedule to accomodate my mom and get her the needed treatment quickly. She is also very positive, friendly and caring. We are so glad that we found her.

She took a special interest in my husband's case. She did an awesome job and explained what all will happen straight up. Told me what to expect from day one. 3 months later I needed her for myself. I was not going to go to anyone but her. She has brought both of us to good health.

I saw Dr. Shulman five years ago at another hospital and had an excellent doctor-patient relationship with her. When I moved close to her current hospital, I knew she was the right doctor to see. She has a way of getting to know her patients and easily discuss concerns. She's a team player and works well with, and respects, other physicians involved in my care. I'm so very lucky to have her in my life.

I have been in horrible back pain for many, many years. I went to my regular Ortho Dr and to another highly respected Ortho Dr, both recently informed me my condition was to far gone for them to do surgery. I was told to loose weight and get a good walker. i ran into a friend I had not seen in a long while. She told me about Dr Shulman and how she had a similar experiences with no one or procedure being able to help her pain. Dr Shulman operated on her and changed her life for the better. I made an appointment and Dr Shulman suggested a minimally invasive surgery on my lower back. I had the surgery and have had no pain since. I feel terrific and cannot thank Dr Shulman enough. I highly recommend her services!

Dr. Shulman is an extraordinary surgeon, with a great deal of experience and and a tremendous knowledge of her craft. She removed a tumor from my wife’s brain. There were no complications, and, we were kept informed, constantly, Carrie’s staff is equally impressive and the entire staff at Largo Medical Center set a new standard for patient care. What an outstanding group of professionals!

If I could give a 10 Star review Dr Shulman and her amazing staff would get all the stars. Everyone on her team was so helpful before my pituitary surgery from scheduling to my time in the hospital and post op. I honestly cannot express enough how wonderful this team was from explaining what to expect and then again after surgery. I highly recommend Dr Shulman and can't thank them enough for giving me my life back! You are a blessing and I am so forever grateful. Lisa Fry

Dr. Shulman did surgery on me the beginning of Nov.I have Spinal Stenosis. She came highly recommended by several people including my most trusted Dr. I was apprehensive because when I had my neck done it did not go well. I researched her and I was at the point of taking a chance on paralysis. It certainly was the correct decision. She is an absolute expert in her field. Her Nurse Practitioner who also was working directly with her was also wonderful. Dr. Shulman was compassionate engaged and extremely qualified. I’m in the midst of my recovery but I have no doubt I will make a full recovery. I’d also like to add, her staff at her office were professional qualified and very helpful. Thank all of you Cheryl Peters

A 5-star doctor and human being, what a lovely personality and may God bless her! Our son Andrew Mitchell came all the way from Los Angeles for his procedure. Upon my question if he knew or had met the doctor during a phone conference he said NO! He and us as parents hit the jackpot having Dr. Shulman as his neuro surgeon. At age 39 Andrew deserves to get back to a sporty life, doing all the sports he loves so much, not having to work at a "standing desk" because of pain, enjoy traveling with us. Our sincere gratitude for Dr. Shulman is from the heart. Highly recommend others to entrust themselves to her.

We first met Dr. Shulman 5 years ago when she operated on my 80 year old brother. Not only is she a top tier first rate surgeon but a truly caring and attentive physician. She explains everything in layman's terms and takes time to be sure you fully understand. I have dealt with two other neurosurgeons in the past year, one who is even the head of neurosurgery for a hospital, for other family members, and would absolutely without a doubt or hesitation recommend Dr. Shulman over them. So glad we were able to locate her now that she is in private practice. Do yourself a favor and see her first. Five star all the way!
